Packages

When you book with Prince Rupert Outdoor Wilderness Adventures and Accommodations, the guest is in control of the activities selected. Guests might decide they want to kayak the Pacific Ocean one day, canoe, kayak, or paddle board the surrounding mountain lakes the second day, or combine a mixture of ocean and river kayaking and canoeing with paddle boarding, beach excursions, hikes, or all within one package.

Packages available include 1-3 day packages where guests are taken on guided adventures. Guests may choose to be guided for a day or two, and after building some confidence, may chose to go it alone for a day or two. The flexibility included in our packages provides the opportunity for rest days where guests can explore the town of Prince Rupert, surrounding areas, and activities. Guests who only want to engage in a quick adventure (2-4 hrs) around Prince Rupert harbour or one of the many local bays surrounding Prince Rupert, this option is available and requires very little planning. These activities can even occur during the evening, when the weather is nice, winds are calm, and the sun is setting providing spectacular views and photo opportunities.

Also available, and highly recommended, and guaranteed to create memories that last a life time, are full day tours, that include both vehicle and boat transportation. These packages include transportation to remote inlets, islands and beaches, of the North Pacific where the rugged beauty of the storm ravaged shores are out in full display. These areas are only accessible by vessel or driving to inlets located outside of Prince Rupert. The boating packages are highly recommended. Boating packages include all gear in the prices quoted. These packages induce crossing Chatham sound, where marine life is abundant, and include possibly observing marine life during crossings (whales, sea lions, and seals) which are abundant in the North Coast.

The beauty of the coastal mountains towering 3000 feet high above sea level, provides endless photo opportunities and we believe is one of the most beautiful scenic views in British Columbia. Activities guest may choose, includes any variation of the following activities. Guest may chose multiple activities to occur on the tour, for example, kayaking, snorkeling, and beach hiking, or they can chose to do one activity one day, and another on a second day. Also, if guests of PROWAA have activities they wish to engage in, and the activities is not listed below, call and ask, and we at PROWAA will be more than happy to work with you to design a package that meets your needs.

Given the large variance of options available for both guided and self-guided adventures, prices quoted are reflective of the adventures clients select. Full day (approximate 10hr) adventures which include boating, kayaking, snorkeling and paddle boarding, are approximately 700 dollars. The price is per group, and includes a safety guide, for the full day, transportation, and gear. Please call or email for exact price quote! Packages are designed and prices quoted based on activities selected, length of package (i.e. overnight camping). Package discounts are available for guests who stay at the Heron Nest Accommodation, and may combine guided with self guided activities.
