Wade and Amy both grew up in Northern Ontario and developed a love of the outdoors from very young ages. Amy and Wade both worked in Provincial Parks and attended post secondary education within natural resource programs. Both pursued and were successful in obtaining careers in natural resource related fields, and pursued their love of nature. Wade developed his wilderness skills through both his personal and professional life experiences. His experiences include 2 1/2 years in the Arctic, 15 years in Northern Ontario, and the last 10 years in beautiful Northern BC, including river and marine environments. Wade has completed the following safety courses, which when combined with his years of experience provides Wade with the skills needed to ensure a safe adventure.

  • Oxygen Therapy course
  • Jet boat operators proficiency course
  • Canadian Coast Guard RHOIT course – this is an advanced vessel operators course that teaches navigation and vessel operation on the Pacific Ocean in both day and night vessel operations
  • Predator self defense training
  • Wilderness survival course
  • PADI trained diver (open, advanced, and Rescue diver)
  • Firearms safety course and possession of PAL
